ISES REC - Part IV

Missed Parts I, II, or III?

The last day of the Regional Education Conference was this past Monday. In the morning they hosted a brunch and featured a keynote speaker. The setup was really great...tons of lighting and decor in true ISES style. Here's some photos of the room!

The whole room:This huge ground-anchored truss held all the lighting for the stage:The centerpieces:This centerpiece used copper pipes wrapped in curly copper wire. There were little wire balls made of the same stuff and beautiful see-through copper leaves:A close-up of the copper wire, balls, and leaves:My favorite part was the way they presented the napkins. Since the speaker spoke about his involvement in a breast cancer foundation, the pink napkins were folded like ribbons. The copper wire matched the tall copper centerpieces:This was a beautiful event although we were all pooped by Monday morning! It was a lovely way to start off the day, though, and that breakfast got me all the way to Philadelphia for the....
